The plenary meeting with members of the Advisory Board served to address previous activities and successes, such as the prolongation of the International Graduate School “Resonant Self-World Relations in Ancient and Modern Socio-Religious Practices” for four more years, or the approved ERC Grant for the STRADA (Simulation of Transport between the Adriatic Sea and the Danube) project led by Leif Scheuermann. Furthermore, Lura Pollozhani provided first insights in the Horizon 2020 research project CONNEKT, dealing with socio-political drivers of violent extremism in the MENA and Balkan region.
Besides presentations of current research projects, members exchanged their ideas about potential future collaborations, stemming from synergies of existing expertise in the FoE, such as digital humanities, geography, antiquity, Southeast European studies, theology, and more.
